Handles all parts of the order flow

“For us the system has, among other things, decreased administration in our sales department. Symbrio is effective because it handles all parts of the order flow” (order,  order response, dispatch advice and invoice), says Lars Fransson, e-business manager at Onninen in Sweden. “The implementation of an e-procurement system means changing the behavior of buyers, but in the end it causes clear process improvement for the buying company, which we also benefit from. Symbrio has proven to work well and it is easy for us to add customers now that we have the system integration running”, Fransson says.

Increasing use of EDI

As the situation is today, a considerable part of Onninen’s sales are made through EDI. “E-business is an important part of our growth strategy and we consider it as a way to compete. We see a development where companies of all sizes are increasing the use of EDI in the procurement process”, says Fransson.
